Are Business Cards Still Relevant
In Covid19 Global Pandemic?
Yeah, they are, and here’s the explanation.
Business cards are one of the oldest and most efficient types of direct marketing, but are they still relevant
to the advancement of technology and networking platforms in Covid19 Global Pandemic?
I can’t help but think that with a trusty old business card, people skip a trick. It might surprise many,
but I maintain that my most successful direct marketing medium is still up to date the business card.
Yes on the card, that you can touch and feel.
I might say that the one thing that technology has failed to substitute is the business card.
They’re always physical items that we hand to someone we want to network with directly.
It adds a personal touch
I believe that in these days, having a tangible reminder of someone is strong.
Often, someone, I knew years ago who just happened to come across my business card in their wallet or
purse contacts me out of the blue, and the important thing to remember here is, they remembered me.
I still think it creates a great first impression
Passing your business card to someone is more than just giving someone your info,
it’s also about making a great first impression.
Whenever I offer a business card to a potential customer, I always try to calculate their response and,
more importantly, what they do with the business card.
Potential customers are much more likely to contact you if they think you’ve made
an effort to approach them and invest in offering them something tangible with your information.
They’re not running out of steam, they’re not reliant on technology.
Emails can get lost and hidden in hundreds of other emails and phones can be destroyed and never recovered,
which means that all the contact information has been lost by a future customer,
because the customer is like technology’s mercy.
A business card does not require wifi for a customer to access the data,
it is right there, ready and waiting.
Business Cards are still needed In Covid19 new normal
because they remain the quickest and easiest way to share knowledge about business contacts.
Even in this tech world, we still live in one of the best (if not the best) methods to remind
individuals of you and your organization, and that creates business.
